Maxim & Chreia In-A-Week

Course Description:
This class will be an overview covering all of Classical Writing's
Diogenes: Maxim
and Diogenes:
Chreia, our beginning essay analysis and writing courses, in
four live classes over four days. This course is perfect for students
who need to cover the intermediate levels of Classical Writing before
beginning
Herodotus. It will also be excellent teacher training for home
educators as well as co-op and private school teachers.
Students should be at least rising 9th graders, and should have
completed Classical Writing's
Homer or
the equivalent. If you have any questions about your student's readiness
for this course, please email
the tutor.
Meeting Time:
Class will meet Monday through Thursday evening,
7:00 - 9:30 PM, EST. I will be available for 30 minutes or so
after class to answer questions and to address the specific issues and
needs of those who are teaching Classical Writing Maxim or Chreia.

Cost:
Total cost for the four week tutorial is $135, which includes:

Registration fee: $15 for all students students, regardless of when you pay; due at time of registration.

Access to the class forum where you can post your assignments, see the work others are doing, and ask questions or get help from the tutor and the other students

A PDF workbook with assignment schedules, models, lessons, and editing checklists.
All fees and payments are non-refundable due to server lease commitments. Please note that classes are subject to cancellation if there is not sufficient enrollment. It that case, all payments will be refunded for the canceled class.

Materials Needed:
Books are not included in
tuition, but Classical Writing materials are available at our 20% co-op
discount for class members. To receive the discount, orders must be
submitted via email at the time of registration.
