Summer 2010 Tutorials and Teacher Training

Fees and Registration

Total cost for Herodotus tutorial is $450, which includes:

  • Registration fee: $50 per student per course; due at time of registration to secure placement. Non-refundable (unless course is canceled).
  • Tuition fee: $400 per student per course; due by August 13. Tuition payments are non-refundable (unless course is canceled).
  • If you prefer to pay full year tuition in two installments, an additional processing fee of $40 will be charged. First tuition payment of $240 is due by August 13, second tuition payment of $200 is due by December 1.

Total cost for twenty week tutorial (Aesop & Homer, Maxim, and Chreia) is $375, which includes:

  • Registration fee: $50 per student per course; due at time of registration to secure placement. Non-refundable (unless course is cancelled).
  • Tuition fee: $325 per student per course; due in full by August 13 for Fall Semester and by December 30 for Spring Semester. Tuition payments are non-refundable (unless course is canceled).
  • If you prefer to pay full year tuition in two installments, an additional processing fee of $40 will be charged. First tuition payment of $240 is due by August 13, second tuition payment of $125 is due by December 1.

Total cost for Poetry Spring Short Course is $150, which includes:

  • Registration fee: $50 per student per course; due at time of registration to secure placement. Non-refundable (unless course is cancelled).
  • Tuition fee: $100 per student per course; due in full by February 1. Tuition payments are non-refundable (unless course is canceled).

Books are not included in tuition, but Classical Writing materials are available at our 20% co-op discount for class members. See the individual tutorial pages for details on how to receive this discount.

All fees and payments are non-refundable due to server lease commitments. Please note that classes are subject to cancellation if there is not sufficient enrollment. It that case, all payments will be refunded for the canceled class.

Payment Method for registration and tuition:

Payment via PayPal is preferred, and you can use the link below to make your payment with no additional fees. Personal checks and money orders are also accepted.

Writing Project Evaluation:

Available to tutorial students only. The fee for writing project evaluation and grading is $15 per writing project, due via Paypal at the time of submission.

Private Tutoring Sessions:

Available to tutorial students only. $25 per half hour, prepaid via Paypal.

Late Fee:

There will be a $25 late fee for payments postmarked more than 10 days after their due date and for late registrations.
